The central mission of the Oregon Business Association PAC is to identify and support candidates committed to finding common ground on the big issues facing Oregon and its businesses.
With the primary season completed, OBA PAC has begun interviewing legislative candidates for general election endorsements.
At its May 29th meeting the PAC Board chose several contested races to interview and made the following endorsements:
House District 18 - Vic Gilliam (R - Molalla/Silverton)
House District 22 - Betty Komp (D - Woodburn)
House District 26 - Jessica Adamson (D - Sherwood)
House District 27 - Tobias Read (D - Beaverton)
House District 35 - Larry Galizio (D - Tigard)
The OBA PAC Board will meet again on July 29th to finalize endorsements. We will continue to support Republican and Democratic candidates who are committed to working together making Oregon a great place to live and work.
After a long day of interviewing nearly a dozen candidates, the PAC Board joined other OBA business leaders in hosting a reception in support of House Minority Leader Bruce Hanna and his leadership team. The event provided Rep. Hanna the opportunity to introduce several of the Republican candidates he is supporting in the November election.
Rep. Hanna also took a moment in his remarks to express his appreciation for OBA's support and work in developing a bi-partisan legislative agenda.
If you would like to help elect moderate candidates and build bi-partisanship in Salem, consider making a contribution to the Oregon Business Association PAC. To make a contribution, please contact Ryan Deckert at ryan@oba-online.org or mail a check to:
